Probably is. I was looking along Picton Road for date-stones etc, but that was the only thing that caught my eye, so far.

    Default Edge Hill area.

The home of Joseph Williamson on Mason street, or one of them anyway. The facade has been left up, supported by steels.

One of the Waterloo Tunnel shafts just as it emerges from the back of Archbishop Blanch school, this is looking West towards the river. It seems to have been extended at the top at some point in time.

Houses on the junction of Upper Mason Street and Irvine Street.

Continuing up Irvine Street with St. Mary's church popping above.

My mate lives in that house on the corner of Upper Mason Street/Irvine Street and did most of the work himself - it was more or less a shell when he got his hands on it!

Default Mason Street - taken April 96.

    The stables and goods yard.

The dwellings for the stables/goods yard workers.

The rear of and rooftops of the old Mason street property. Smithdown Lane police HQ are in the background.

I've researched in to the Stable Yard at Edge Hill and have loads of original pictures and drawings from when it was 'new' - 1860.

Have a nose at my website www.smithdownlane.com

It's better this way as you can even do it when they're asleep.

Cheers Lad. That website was done in 48 hours with very little sleep. The land was to be auctioned off on the Monday and someone suggested that I put something on-line on the friday night as a last ditch attempt.

I e-mailed the sellers on the Sunday evening and they took it off for sale!
