Here's more interior photo's of Speke Hall,it's a fantastic place and I think everyone grew up with the ghost stories of the spooks that are supposed to inhabit the place.

    Default Knowsey Hall.

I noticed the other day they are doing tours of Knowsley Hall and the pictures shown of the interior looked unbelievable,I think they start on May 8th and finish on 12th and cost about £8.

Allerton Priory- This place is extremely well hidden. It has been a home for the elderly, nuns once ran it as a refuge for Irish girls. It was temporary certified 18th May 1916 for 15 girls, re-certified 1917 as a mixed school as Allerton Priory Special Industrial School for mentally defective girls under 15'. It ceased to be a Home Office school in 1933. Now, private apartments.
