Hi,
I know theres been alot of stuff on here lately about this, but I was wondering whether anyone has an RELIABLE and UP TO DATE information on the Hall Lane/Edge Lane West Project and the New Royal Hospital rebuild, I keep hearing of various sources different times for scheduled start but each time it turns out to be false, I live right near Mount Vernon Road and have got to say, each day that passes and this essential gateway to the city is left to rot, is a tragedy, the area in question is more representative of the down and out Liverpool of the 1980s than the ambitious phoenix it has now become...fingers crossed work will start ASAP

Possibly some update here, I was walking across the land that I call Minshull Park (the land in front of the UoL Biosciences Unit, and noticed new stakes in the ground marking what looks like is gonna be a road, this is consistent with the engineering maps Ive seen for the new road layout, which will realign Crown Street, as shown here....

Looks like they could actually be making a move on sorting this area out, the roads around here are terrible, saw another bump/crash the other day as a result of the terrible and confusing layout
