Deprived of its unique dockland waters Liverpool
becomes a Venice without canals, just another city, no
longer of special interest to anyone, least of all the
tourist. Would we visit a modernised Venice of filled in
canals to view its modern museum describing
how it once was?

Great pics Joe. Used to go the vaults/courtyard pub then it became Liberty City - all the time. Could go through the back and it led to the Croc on Harrington St. My arl mate Paddy Musc was the DJ there - c1982/3.
I was never off the space invaders in there. That other one too where the asteroids or rocks came at you from different angles and when they went off the screen to your left, they'd reappear from the right. You had to be on your guard. You could also press a button that'd put a shield around you and they had a tabletop version in Scarlets bar.

The link is to one of the Yo Arcade games which would bring back lots of memories. Works for me
