Does anyone know what the County Sessions House, William Brown St. is used for today?

It really is a beautiful building lurking in the shadows of its 'big brothers'.

    Very understated.

Yes, those were the warders quarters next to the prison.

The Sessions house became the Labour Museum but since the NMGL closed down certain underused galleries, it has become vacant. We had the chance of moving into the caretakers flat belonging to this building but in the end, the vacancy came up for the flat attached to Blackburn Chambers on Dale st and we moved there.

Cheers Ged. I knew someone learned on here would have some info.

How can such a magnificent building on one of the best streets in the worlds' greatest city be vacant?
