i'll be popping down on thursday with my dad (thats the plan as of now) going to visit the ship and he wants a play on the simulators (aww bless! ) then have a walk about and we both want to go to the western approches.

last time me and my dad went to liverpool together i was a young boy and we walked up and down for miles, while dad pointed out where his old stomping ground was, now it's my turn to show him about. he hasn't been to liverpool in at least 10 years.

will be charging the camera batteries soon, can't wait

Boy, it's changed in the last 10 years. Mostly for the best.

i'm sure he will love it, but he'll just say ''it's allright''

yes huge change in 10 years, and mostly for the good, few little bits here and there that is personal taste i guess (not starting another argument over ferry terminal )

i remember liverpool being 'scruffy' in parts and in need of a good scrub. now it's alot better, some place still need work, mostly off the main shopping and tourist area, but i'm sure with this 2nd part of building works starting up soon, it will bring even more buisness and investment into the city.

might have to take him back in another 10 years to see it again
