    Default Audit Commission Act

    Neighbours,

You will all be aware that the above act gives local electors a 20-day window to inspect any books, deeds, vouchers, receipts or contracts relating to accounts under annual audit.
I read that Liverpool City charges 20p per page.

    So, that's all right then?

    Default The point being...

The future costs of PFI schemes is around ?246 billion, this thanks to Gordon is 'off balance sheet'. So the main partys can remain schtum.
These schemes, however, do require private borrowing, money from banks. These costs will only rise, yet councils will have to continue to pay. [only for about 30 years]
So when things get tight and teachers, nurses and the rest are laid off you know why.
Something to think about when it comes time for you to vote, perhaps.
