Default Cunard Building - A Visit

The Merseyside Branch of the World Ship Society had an organised visit to the Cunard Building - once home of the Cunard Steamship Company -on Saturday September 26.

The building is mainatained in superb condition and has a fascinating interior full of Cunard memorabilia and bric-a-brac.

I have posted a selection of photographs at:

I used to have to go in there regularly as a shipping clerk in the early 60's.

But the last time I was there was in 1967, when I had to visit the US consul to get a visa to go to the States.
