Default Merseyside Transport trust running day 2009

A few pic's of Sunday's bus running day. It was the mtt's most ambitious running day so far with 21 buses, (including the Ribble & Crosville buses) Made all the better by the sunny weather.
The first arrivals at Exchange st east

    The 87 & 1 meet at Dingle

    The Ribble routes at Crosby

The last 59 to Old Roan

My bus home the 16 to Seaforth

Great pics, I remember all those types of bus from when I was growing up.

I've got an old ticket machine somewhere from the days when every bus had a Conductor, it's still got some tickets in it, I think the most expensive one is 10p.

    Happy days!!!
