Hi Paul D
Just came across this thread by chance. Spiffing photographs! As a big fan of Hilbre Island, I enjoyed your pics immensely, Paul. Bravo.

Also came across this very interesting webpage about the wreck of an 1890s steamship and U-boat victim, The Liverpool, located 18 nautical miles east of south-east of the Isle of Man, and about 40 nautical miles north of Anglesey. An article that appeared in Diver August 2005.

Here is Coast s2-ep,2 HollyHead to Liverpool. is this the episode you were after?
Paul, smashing photos, one of my favourite walks and islands. Once had to take a kid from church back to the mainland because he was bored whilst on a day out. We ended up knee high in the incoming tide, we were all scared to death (another kid came home too) as none of us could swim
Nice pics too Kev, I,m a fan of Freshfield and Formby, I only saw two sqirrals last time I was there. Wonder was it the same two or there may have only been one and a mirror in the path. ha ha
