Just read a book, called ?The Liverpool Connection?, amongst the people featured is ?Harry Rimmer?, former Liverpool City Council Leader.
It is said that he was a man with Old fashioned Values, which included seeing a job through to the bitter end.
I was just wondering if you had any views on the man.
In hindsight do you feel he done a good job for the city etc
Harry Rimmer is my best friend's Dad. He is a man of values without a doubt. It was Harry Rimmer who started the city back on the road to relative prosperity after Hatton and Co. He went to Europe and got the city millions and millions in grants. He's been retired for years now, for is still an Alderman for the city.
A fine man!
Can't argue with that. i don't know the guy, musta been on me travels.
