Fact has mentioned the name of the other 2 names they have given to the pubs too.
One Is Elephant In Latin but Is nothing to do with the Famous Elephant.

Gididi Gididi Goo.
Casa Del Cocodrilo Is In English, Marries Of The Crocodile.
Yet It's an Elephant Themed building.

Why didn't Fargo Bar and Grill get called Marries Of The Crocodile.
I should become Tony Montana from Scarface and become a crimelord and run them out of Woolton.
Us English prefer our pubs called something like the old boot.

Gididi Gididi Goo.
It's casa everything in South Liverpool at the moment - talking about flogging a theme to death. We need more North African restaurants.
But not any called
Casa Maghreb
Still no Elephant Head back up on the building yet!
Went to Sainsbury's again.

Oh my! Max posts a picture that is equal to a ScouserDave picture.
Hurrah!

I went to Childwall, then back to Wavertree, then Woolton yesterday.
I got a Day rider bus ticket for all that.
Most of Childwall had too many shadows on their buildings so I tried Wavertree and Woolton as well.
Gididi Gididi Goo.
Nah It was shadow.
Your painting of buildings would of broke the Wavertree/Childwall peace Treaty and you would of been Imprisoned on site for going against a fellow Waverwall.
The Treaty says the Villages are one as brothers so It's Waverwall as well.
Gididi Gididi Goo.
That was the second attempt I took a pic of that Lodge.
The first time there was some fine arse woman taking a pic of the Lodge too with her compact Digi camera too.
Gididi Gididi Goo.
I'd forgotten I'd taken this.
3 September 2006, the night the Woolton Cinema closed.

Love Karen
What a lovely photo of the Elephant ,its so sad the new owners have changed it to the horrible blue colour and got rid of the elephant head.

This old street does not seem to be under threat of a compulsory purchase and demolition order. m I wonder why? After all it's only probably a 100 years older than the "Welsh" streets of Toxteth and no doubt the Mason St houses have no cavity wall insulation etc. Every reason then to keep them then.
