    Default LIVERPOOL NEEDS YOU!!!

    Date: Wednesday 19th August
    Time: 12.30PM
Location: One Park West, The Strand

...More specifically we need your arms for our One Park Hug!

Landmark residential building One Park West has come under fire from all directions for its architectural prowess sculpted by world famous architect Cesar Pelli.

Recently nominated for industry raspberry, the Carbuncle Cup by Building Design magazine, we think One Park West deserves some love and we need your help to show the world, Liverpool is proud of its architecture.

A group hug, One Park Hug, will take place on Wednesday 19th August at 12.30pm, where a human chain will be formed around the building to show the city's love for One Park West and the public's appreciation for world class architecture.

A facebook group named One Park Hug has been established for the building's supporters to join and find out more about One Park Hug. Follow us also on Twitter @oneparkhug.

That building was supposed to be 5 to 7 floors higher. It would have looked better with height. English Heritage chopped off floors.

There is one similar, but better looking, at Swiss Cottage in London, that no one looks at.

Deprived of its unique dockland waters Liverpool
becomes a Venice without canals, just another city, no
longer of special interest to anyone, least of all the
tourist. Would we visit a modernised Venice of filled in
canals to view its modern museum describing
    how it once was?
