    Smile Brian Daley The Return!

Before I write another word just let me say thank you to all you wondeful people on YO!". Your e.mails, cards and phone calls were as good as any medicines the doctors prescribed me. Well I'm out on bail now and am looking forward to meeting you wonderful people very soon;just got to confirm the date with my doctor because they want me back inside for a bit more work on my plumbing. I'll make the most of my freedom by getting some posts on,
    Cheers,
    BrianD

Default Back in the old corral

It's great to be back ;I have spent ages catching up on the old e.mails ,still not got through them all. When I was in hospital one of my colleagues brought me a lap top, lovely little job,I have done two pieces that I intended for YO! but I don't know how to transfer them.I have got a memory stick but I don't have the know how to get them from A to B. Does anyone have an idiots guide? I,m still not out of the woods yet with this little lot; I was home for 16 hours and the the madic had to come out.I'm suffering from Vertigo ; it's a bit like sea sickness. They reckon it will be a little while before I'm over it so it looks like I will be able to spend more time typing. Watch this space,
    Cheers

    Default mem stick

    Easy as hell brian.
When you put the stick in a usb port on the laptop it will see it as another drive.
So right click on your message and SEND TO That drive.
Then put in USB port on desk top and open that drive.
    Then bob's your uncle
Good to see you back buddy
    Ron

    Glad you're back Brian.

Do'nt worry about the Vertigo, It's just the timbers in your head drying out. I assume the voices have stopped. I still have mine, and they do'nt like kong!

    all the best,

    Jeff.

    Brian,

If u have text in Microsoft Word or another text editor and it's on your memory stick, open the document up on your pc.

Then go to Yo! Liverpool and create a new thread as normal.

Next, go back to your document and select all of the text, then copy.

After that, go back to the new thread on Yo! and in the empty message box press your right mouse button and select 'paste'. Hopefully all of your message will appear!

The last part is to give it a title.

    Good luck mate
