The Alexandra Tower Is very wide compared to most towers.
Maybe It Is a towa of powa being built with a good amount of width.
If I ever hulked out at Princes dock and threw my opponent through that tower, It would have that much sturdiness, It would still be standing even with a donut like hole In It.
Gididi Gididi Goo.
The top of the hotel (11th floor) will have a skybar in it.
Will the Sky Bar be cheap enough for a Yo Liverpool meetup?
Gididi Gididi Goo.
Good to see planners look set to recommend a 34 storey tower, plan for Princes Dock, despite more objections from CABE and English Heritage.

Why do CABE and EH always have to moan about every tall building that is proposed. The tower looks fine to me and I don't think the height is an issue. 34 storeys means it will be smaller than Beetham West which is behind it, plus the land it is being built on is lower than where the Beethams are. I think it will fit in nicely.
I hope it gets approved!
I heard this building, if approved, is to be clad in corton steel under glass. Corton Steel is a metal that is allowed to rust, which, believe it or not, protects the metal from further oxidization and would give the building the reddish hue shown in the artist impression in the picture above. Can anyone vouch for the veracity of this rumour?
