Invitation
Living in the 21st century in Britain means that you are living in an increasingly diverse society where people of many cultures and faiths live side by side.
You might have met a neighbour or worked with colleague who has got a different religion than yours, and you have been wondering why she or he behaves that way.
Understanding other faiths helps to build links of friendship and understanding between people of different religions and backgrounds.
Consequently, Liverpool Muslim society is delighted to announce a presentation that will show what Islam is all about. Our aim is to share in aiding the integration of different cultural backgrounds in our community. The event will take place on Sunday 14th of June at 3 pm at St Bride?s Church (the corner of Percy Street and Huskisson Street L8 7LT). A session for questions and answers will be available.
Our presenter is Dr.Hany Elsayed a Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Royal Liverpool University Hospital Trust and one of the certified presenters of Islam to Non-Muslims.
We are strongly looking forwards to see you there.

Sounds like a good way to bridge cultural and religious divides. After a lot of bad press in the media showing how religious extremists carry on. It is good to see people with true faith and not bigotry sharing experiences with each other.
