The shopping parades are great though. I'd love to see them tidied up. Kind of Art Deco, aren't they? Late-twenties.
That's the one..by the roundabout. That is pictured on many old pics,shame it's gone to ruin. The swimming baths is well missed in the area. I spent most of my youth in there.
It's a shame they got rid of those flats opposite the shops too. They used to look nice,better than the carpark that's there now.

There's not many old pics about of Norris Green which is a shame.
I am still searching for pics of prefabs on Townsend Ave,they built bungalows not long after and they got knocked down only a couple of years later in the 60's and Jack Sharpes golf course.
