    my turn my turn..

say helo.. (hehe) to my little friend.

taken in skem on sunday, the model aircraft hobby group invited two choppers in, so my dad ran over with my camera and took some snaps

and who said skem never had anything exciting happening lmfao

    Hi Malc,
o.k,o.k, you've had your turn, but any idea what sort of choppers they were?() One looks like a "Huey" as used in Vietnam war, etc!

i have no idea what type the helicopters were.. but it is a impressive chopper

love that pic gregs dad.. if you walk the other way down the road and look up at the beatles statues, do you notice that ringo is looking around the corner and his peace sign looks more like he's sticking two fingers up at you ... or is that just me ?!?!?

Here is the original untouched as taken. At my age the pic needs some help to sharpen the image (I`ve got the hippy, hippy shake) Then you always get a slight haze on a sunny day so I darken the pic to make it more contrasty,

Fine photograph, Joe. I took a shot of virtually the same view during my visit to the 'Pool in May 2007 but not in the glorious sunlight and detail that your photo shows. Well done.

    Good pics Taffy.
You should of lashed that Terrapin though. They will eat very young chicks, they eat at the feet and they eat all the fish too.
Obviously it got to big (and smelly) to keep as a pet and someone has dumped it in there.

There are Terrapins living amongest our Penquins here at the Hilton Hotel.. and they are NOT as bad as you make out... Live and let live.. We have many fish in the pond too.. and you don't see them eatting them...

Most turtles will not eat baby chicks??? Unless there is NOTHING else. (like humans do).... They usually eat the plantin on the sides of the pond...

Given the big pond.. I think that the turtle will be fine.. and to leave NATURE alone... jeeze....

    Nice Picture Lenka...
