    Default Northumberland street/Beaufort street Schools/Churches

    Hi All

I am trying to trace my grandma,s family history. sadly not much is recorded and her name is very common.

So i thought if i could check schools/churches within the area she lived then i may be able to locate her to one place and search from there. Long shot but worth a go.

So im after between 1914-1938 non catholic schools/churches close to Northumberland street/Beaufort street in Toxteth/Dingle im not sure what area this comes under? I can then see if records exist and try to find her.

She lived in Northumberland street and Beaufort street and married at St Gabrials in 1938 ( i have the marriage cert )

Any help then my little cotton socks would be chuffed to bits.

    Cheers

    Spike,

You could also of course try Beaufort St Council School which was right opposite St Gabriel's Church. Records if available will be at the Liverpool Record Office, 4th Floor, Central Library, William Brown St.

    Spike

There are indeed some Beaufort Street CP school records held by Liverpool Record Office, including some registers covering the years 1928-1941.

See link to Liverpool & SW Lancs FHS site below. Hope this helps.
