I remember the brothers in the early days when they were called 'The Shuffler Sound' - then they became 'The Buzz Brothers'. Bernie, Willy & Bobby. They were excellent - there would be literally queues around the block where ever they were on. They had a big following in the 60s & 70s. Word would get round that they'd be on somewhere, and we'd dash down to try and get in. They played clubs in town and all over L'pool.

I can remember their songs and dance routines very well.
It was in the Echo about Bernie last week.
A very sad loss for Liverpool.
Those brothers should have been more famous .. somehow fame alluded them .. like the other well know Liverpool Soul group called 'The Chants' - who were around at the same time as the Meseybeat era and some say that they lost out to the Beatles. (black groups didn't have the same opportunities in those days).
There were lots of tributes to Bernie last week - in the Echo and on local radio.
