It was structurally unsound and would have cost a fortune to upgrade. I tipped off a couple of my mates, George Kountis (Eldon Grove) and Brian

Brennan (Build Direct), but they wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

So instead you went in to take pics even if you could of fell through a floor?

I would of bought the tower for my

    new Empire.

Anyone called Dave would take pictures of it's greatness everyday and sell the pictures to pay for the structure to be upgraded in solid

    platinum.

What were the reasons given for demolition of the Corinth Tower? It was a decent looking block and I could not see any real reason to demolish it or the Shield Rd flats either.

Deprived of its unique dockland waters Liverpool
becomes a Venice without canals, just another city, no
longer of special interest to anyone, least of all the
tourist. Would we visit a modernised Venice of filled in
canals to view its modern museum describing
    how it once was?

ScouserDave said in a previous post it was structurally unsound and would of cost too much to bring upto date.

The amount of dust that made!

Hopefully no asthma sufferers were nearby like myself.

Did people have to clean the dust off their houses themselves?
