    There used to be a load on the top of the 'Green Hill' in Childwall (that spans the loopline) PLUS in Halewood on the Loopline, not too far from the pond, there are some high up on an embankment!

    two of these stone pyramids have been placed by the gates of our local playing field, it's to stop stolen cars getting onto the field.

    Default Carved Insects

    I think these are wasps. Spotted on the side of the old Blackburn Assurance Building on Fontenoy St, central Liverpool. Not sure of their significance. The building now houses the headquarters of the Stanley Leisure betting company

    Someone's taking the wee wee - the council themselves spoke openly about that stone being one of the Calderstones!!
