I'm trying to remember which club it was that opened on a Sunday night - though just until 12.00. I was often in there and can picture it in my head, but can't remember where or what it was. It wasn't very good - but just about the only place open on a Sunday.

    Any suggestions?
Was it the Vic ? (The Victoriana)

The Sink ...didn't you get in there if you gave a sink plug at reception ?...never knew Queen played there, but their FIRST gig (they were from London, so that seems odd ?)

Went to the Sink circa 1966. It was below a "caff" called The Rumbling Tum.

I know of a rumbling tum cafe in Nelson, Lancs. Just below their big chimney.

They make the biggest batches in the World.

It's brought out to you be four semi naked black guys.

    Really is big.

The Rumblin' Tum was on Hardman St and was run by Neil English, who became the first manager of the Odd Spot.

    Hi George,

Colin passed away in 2005, I don't know what the cause was.
A thoroughly nice fella - think the last time I saw him was on the Coconut Grove.

Don't know if this link will work; http://www.youtube.com/user/TONIO2K8#p/f/16/kozxeool3tE
