To be honest it's having a lot of "heritage lottery fund" money spent on it and wont be ready until about 2008 so it's probably worth waiting. The Grand Entrance to the park is worth a visit in itself but it's currently under cover so I'll have to go back there myself.

I too, took a trip this morning to Otterspool Prom Park. We were the only peeps there, very special place.

BBC TV 'Why Don't U?' used this as a location.

Paul, it's great there. Being there this morning brought back so many memories I hadn't experienced since I was about 12 years of age. My little lad was running around everywhere buzzing

I understand where you're coming from, although I'm from the North end my dad wasn't and he used to take me to all these places as a kid and they all hold special memories for me also.

Snapped this rather fine looking frontage at the lower end of Lodge Lane Toxteth this morning. 1866 - details appreciated if you know much about it.

    A closer look:

Managed to snap the Sefton Park Caves too. I would love to explore these and find out where they goto, unfortunately I think they are occupied by persons. Anyone got information about 'em?
