    Default Around Clarence dock,and?

Here's a couple of pic's of the same area, last year! I'm not well up on dock names, but all the sand, looks like it's gone,in your pic's Joe,did they use it to infil the dock next door? I've thrown in a old pic of this,I think,as you can see the bascule bridge!

az_gila, Here's a photo of Ogden's office block in Boundary Lane, about 3 miles from the Clarence. The factory has now closed and this is the only building that remains.

Thanks for the picture. That building is a lot more fancy than the BAT building I worked in one summer. I don't remember a separate office building for BAT.

Is the building still in use as an office for Ogdens? Is Ogdens even still around as a company?

Pipe tobacco and Snuff is no longer produced at the Boundary Lane Everton factory, and I can't tell you what goes on at the office block.

I took the photo recently because rumour had it that it was coming down. It is a listed building but in Liverpool that doesn't mean a thing to the Council. As we have witnessed over the years.

Is there a thread that lists all the buildings/structures of special interest or architecture i.e. Sailors Home, Floating Roadway, etc. that have been pulled down?

Great pictures Steve. Anyone know what building that is in the first photo next to the Sailors Home. I've not seen it before.
