    Default Pavement outside McDonalds

After all of those millions spent on repaving the city centre...has anyone noticed that the area outside McDonalds in Lord street has been dug up and then filled in with "TARMAC"...Didn't take long.
I don't own a camera, so unfortunately can't supply pics!

The filed in tarmac jobs have been done terribly. The city road workers can't fill in a road for toffee most of the time unless it's the dock road since all the businesses near there.

I understand that the paving stones would be destroyed when they're dug up...But , why can't they just buy new replacement ones or have some stored somewhere from the original work?...or is that too easy?
Surely McDonalds themselves should have a say in the appearance right outside their store....They should complain to the council.

Just my thought on this :- >>>>>

It is easier to hide chewing gum (food/sweet of the Devil) on Tarmac than it is from Paving flags.
Just wait a few years and see how many blobs of grey yukky looking gum are around the new ferry terminal and other places.
