AN ?HONORARY Scouser? award for people who were born or live outside Liverpool is being launched.

The public are being asked to nominate all those who have represented the city with distinction.

Entries could consist of famous people who moved to the city like Jan Molby, Graeme Sharp and Roger Phillips, or unsung heroes who were born outside the area.

There could even be posthumous nominations such as Bishop Sheppard and Archbishop Warlock, Bessie Braddock or DJ John Peel.

The first 50 people to receive nominations will be invited to a civic event at Liverpool town hall.
