I see your pic is online on the scottiepress site Debz. I would contact Mrs Tambourini regarding the photo album she has which she exhibited at the Liverpolitalia event. Her relative was born above Charles Clifton's shop which was on the opposite corner of Santangeli's ice cream parlour (formerly the duck house pub) which was on the corner of Gerard Street and Bennett street as seen on page 35 of my 2nd book - the green one.

Ray Baccion is another must to interview. He is very funny on Paul's Gardens of Stone film as well as recounting the voyage and conditions of his ancestors. The other names I mentioned, omitted from Terry's book, will also obviously provide different memories from those also given in Terry's book. Did you put him right regarding the Walker art gallery statues?

    Hi Ged
I will try again with liverpolitalia, I think Ray is fab and a great story teller, he's on top of the list, as far as the statues go its still a mystery maybe during my future research I’ll finally get to know the link with the D'Annunzio's if any
Cheers for the info Ged always appreciated

I know this is unrelated to anything that has been discussed, but I was wondering if anyone knew of where the best places to watch the match on Sunday would be as an Italian fan? This website

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...9520-20597660/

recommends the Italian Club on Bold Street but I thought it was closed in the evenings?

If anyone else knows of any Italian bars or restaurants that will be showing the game please let me know

    Thanks

    Hello Salsa.

I've just googled where the best place will be to watch the Italy v Spain match on Sunday and apparently it's the Ernst Happel stadium in Vienna. I've got Germany in the works sweep so i'm quite happy this morning

Thanks for the reply, whilst I agree that Vienna would be without doubt the best place to watch it, I was thinking more in and around Liverpool, although if anyone has a ticket going for the Ernst Happel Stadium then please let me know!
