Were any of the Yoers in Bootle tonight. I past a gang of lads playing footy and one had the most ridiculous pair of bermuda shorts on i'd ever seen. Got me scratching my head now as i'm sure i'd seen his boat race somewhere before???
Not guilty. Was in Southport.
er I was playing indoors AND never wore Bermuda shorts
AHA - a guilty conscience if ever I saw one or is it an inferiority complex - always get those two mixed up. Older than me and says my time is up. On yer bike
I'm keeping very quiet on that one.
It's my daughters blouse actually, the one that took the photo and guess what - i'm not really ironing so ha ha fooled you all
Do any of you remember St. John's precinct in 1980 just before its major refurb when the top floor market was trading. The Star & Garter, Top Rank Suite (later Romeo & Juliets and Rotters), Penny Farthing, Quinns (formerly the Sportsman), Cunarder, Moonstone (later Milo's) and St. Johns Tavern were all still in situ.
How about Broadway, Norris Green looking all pristine like this.
I don't think many will remember the now partly listed but deserted Hockenhall Alley when it was a residential area in 1933.

Fab picture of Hockenhall Alley. I never knew it was residential like that.
