Thanks Mart and Pablo, they don't do bad for do's in the Silvestrian though, I had to get back down for 9am on saturday to collect my kit as they had a wedding on. I only got in at 4am and was up at 8.30, then up for footy at 9 today so i'm gonna be knackered in an hour or two.

    Percy Street.

It was cold on Wednesday night but the Hope St and Falkner Street eateries were packed and doing well out of what looked like some large works Christmas nights out.

Up the other end of Falkner St and around Canning Street and Percy Street, it was like time stood still except for the cars on view.

Ged - for some unknown reason your site can't be accessed on the computers in the library. When I click the link there is a page with 'Potential Policy Breach' and the City Council Liver Bird on it...

I wonder if it's because it's operated by Piczo and it's a social networking site as I know certain companies block such sites and of course children go on those library computers?

Another 100+ b&w pics uploaded over the last couple of nights.

The home page will tell you where the latest uploads are to be found, the newest pics are obviously at the bottom of those pages so please scroll down.

A new post war b&w page (overspill) has been created as the other one got too full for any more uploads.

    Please enjoy.

Its getting rather slow Ged,mainly because the amount of photies on one page...it takes an age to download.

Me thinks you're best adding individual pages ie Pre-war 1,2,3 ect.

Some people are still on Dial-up and yer know what that means? oh bother I can't be bothered.

I was thinking of arranging them into districts but the borders are too iffy, then post codes but realised that West Derby Road for instance is L6 and L13 and there's plenty more like that. Opens up quickly first time for me every time no matter whose house i'm in. The secret is, by the time the bottom lot of photos appear, you're still up at the top looking at those. Too much work to change it now I think. It lets you know when there's too many to a page as it won't let you upload any more.

You savvy with computers Ged? if a person has a poor graphics card this will evidently either slow down their comp or worse it will crash the computer due to much graphic content one page.

Thats why I offered to build you a new front page with links to cataloguing individual pages ie Pre-war Slums pages 1,2,3 the link would pop out and a tree link would give you "pre-war one"."Pre-war two".
No need to district or post code em.

Yes but I assume i'd still have to re-upload or transfer the pics to the newly created pages.

All you would have to do is transfer the photos on the website into folders name(example) pre-war one,pre-war two.

Are your photos in named folders on the website? I can easily find this out by looking at the page source but I just want to ask you.

Can you access the website to move/delete/rename folders, or do you just upload and leave it at that?

I have the bother of creating the links to the pages all you have to do is upload the pages and there's no need to upload the photos again as they're already there,so basically you might have to upload as many pages as say 14 or 15 pages which shouldn't take long.

I know you can transfer to another page but it would still be time consuming. I might do it when this site is down over Crimble.
