I am not sure whether they can move on, but I think they will try. The people of Liverpool always seem to rally after tragedy or disaster. I certainly hope so. We simply cannot allow this vile minority to ruin things for everyone else. That goes for everywhere in the UK and not just Liverpool.

They ARE a minority and the rest of Croxteth are going about their lawful business, looking after neighbours, minding each others kids, going to work, sending kids to school etc. Just like everywhere else. This poor lads death leaves a terrible scar, and rightly so, but good will also flourish; its just not very interesting to newspapers.

    Default Toxteth Croxteth

I think that Place names can become media labels to amplify and stigmatized. Toxteth was left with a huge problem after the media had used the place name to establish a stereotypical image of urban rioters. The parents of Rhys have always come over as loving and caring parents that goe's along way in the forming of opinions. So Croxteth need not be a place name for the hoodie mentality, which is essentially the culture of backward people.
