    I have just turned 70 (old age that is) and can remember these around the city.
    The one I can remember most is the one between White Rock St and Norwood Grove at the West Derby Road end.
    It was set outside the church along with the old Blue Police Box and the Post Box.
    That was about 1956 as that was the year I went to sea.
