Liverpool Santa Dash 2013
Only rarely do I stray from the path of local history and if I do, its only to report on something that's happening in the city that will probably be looked on as a favorable piece of history in the future.
This is one of those occasions, this year’s Santa Dash took place today, December 1st and marks the 10th Liverpool Santa Dash, which has become a firm favorite in the run-up to the festive season.
The sheer numbers taking part turned the route around the city into a carpet of red - and a few blue - Santas, all running to raise cash for their various charities. I was there to take photographs and the ones that follow are the first, more will be uploaded over the next few days.
