A planning application for a waste recycling plant in Liverpool has been withdrawn.
Jack Allen Holdings planned to build a state-of-the-art waste recovery facility near Garston Docks.

But a number of people objected to the plans to process 300,000 tonnes of waste a year go through the site.
A spokesman for the company said it would carry out a more in-depth consultation with local residents and re-submit the plans in the new year.
Peter Coe from the company said: "Our proposals are for a clean, green technology and we need to get that message across to reassure people.
"We want to contribute positively to the regeneration of Garston and are already working with local organisations to maximise the economic and employment benefits to local people."
He added: "We want to be a good neighbour and that is why we want to get this application right.
"If by spending more time talking to local people and organisations we can improve this proposal, then that is what we will do."
