Cain's brewery has gone into administration. I hear that Marston's might buy it.

From what I learned on our tour of the brewery it has changed hands numerous times since it was first established and hopefully a buyer can be found that will keep the much needed jobs safe in Liverpool.

    Arty pic, Ged.
My vertigo won't allow me to walk over that.
    I tried once, and I just couldn't.
Mind you, I did pick the worst time of day.
    5 pm.

That's a good vantage point for La Machine/Tunnel...if the Police don't close it off.

    Thanks Philip.

I took a whole host of these pics from different angles as, as kids, we used to ride our bikes over that and the swirly slopes at both ends made for dizzy evil kineval stunts

I never realised it dipped so much in the middle.

Next time we're in town i'll accompany you as there are some good photo opportunities up Hunter St and Scottie.

Greg's dad captured my mate and I watching LFC's homecoming in 1977 from it.

    That's right Marky.

I went up there to photograph the Man utd supporters getting escorted down scottie and a policeman who was up there to obviously stop anyone getting up there and throwing things down at them told me to stand at the end and take it which was fair enough.
