    Queen Victoria visited it 1886 (she stayed at the Judge's residence on Judge's Drive). I heard it was to be demolished and apartments built on the site. Don't know if that is going to happen though. I could tell you a few stories about the place that would make your hair stand on end...

    ^ I don't know who did the sculpture. The tree was cut down about 4 years ago, I think. It used to be surrounded by its' own railings, all on its' own.

    Good picture. I have passed that building so many times and yet I have never noticed the Liver bird. It's quite prominent too

    Liverpool was full of buildings like this. Very few are left. No one ever thought of converting them to apartments until pretty recently.

    Default August 29th- Firefighters games

    this French firefighter was one of those giving it his all at St Georges Plateau yesterday afternoon


    firefighters do a fantastic job as do all the emergency services, so bless em all.
