Default Bubblecars at Southport last weekend

the hubster fancied a couple of hours at Southport last Saturday so off we toddled.
came across a bubblecar/micro car display at the Esplanade. there were mostly Messerchmitts and BWM Isettas.

been trying to upload these for a couple of days but photobucket has been dreadfully slow

They are adorable.. Can they go very fast? One thing.. It might be scarey to drive one on an Autobaun? But, great to park!! Nice cars...

I've actually been in a bubble car .. 1967 on holiday in Wales, someone I met there had one. I got a lift to the local youth club in it ha,ha - tootling down the country lanes !

I seem to recall the front of it opening and you stepped out of the front !!

I took a few little avi clips on my camera. will try and upload one.

ok pinkies crossed...best bit is at the end with the guy on the scooter trying to catch them up . and the hubster is on the left with his groovy Sainsburys bag
