An impromptu 'Ticket to Ride' acoustic version got these ladies singing and dancing.

The area was packed again with tourists taking snaps of each other by anything to do with the Beatles which is why we cannot possibly overplay them. Deacon Blue and Brit Floyd have just done the Echo arena and Blondie who were playing the 02 academy off London Road were staying in the Hard days night Beatles hotel just around the corner from here..

Not sure I like John's 'bob' hairdo!!! Love that it is all happening though. Friend of mine said today that Liverpool is packed in the city center every weekend recently and throngs of people having a good time. Love it!

That's true Roni, the pier head hasn't seen anything like it for a long time for sure. The new ferry landing stage is going in within the next few months too. The city centre is mayhem and it's great to see people sitting out al fresco at so many new bars around the likes of Duke St, Tithebarn st and Manchester St to name but a few and outside a few of the not so new bars like the Slaughterhouse and Queens.

    Happy faces.
