What are the council doing to this building? are they just letting it fall to bits so they can knock it down?

It closed in 2006 due to structual damage, yet nothing has happened since then. I went past today and a load more slates have been ripped off the roof, along with the Led flashings, so it must be causing all kinds of problems in there.

Why is nothing being done to save this fine building? Capital of culture my arse.

Makes me sad, this is my Grandpa and his crew building it.

This photo was taken a year ago.
I was shocked to see that the windows weren't boarded up.

    We already have a thread.
    Could they be merged?

Excellent photo shytalk I spent a lot of my youth in there. You're right gnomie - seems that these fine buildings are left to ruin with no interest in saving them.
