Yes it's lovely to see the quiggins building all spruced up...lots of fond memories in that place.

I went again today and it was nice to see people using the park in the mild heat. Plus I finally managed to go to my beloved Yo! Sushi. But one little thought did occur to me while in One...

When do you think we'll get our first suicide? I mean there's that many balconies and high walkways, it only seems like a matter of time before we get one. Haven't there been 2 or 3 in World Museum?

I had a meal in Waggamammas, nice it was, a real mix of people. Its a beautiful area at the top, a wide expanse of grass and open area for the public to enjoy.

I had a quick peep on the way back from the hozzie last week. Its a bit off putting on the top level that the walkway suddenly stops. few people got caught out thinking there was lift or staircase at the end (incl me )

if someone is desperate and determined enough they'll jump off anything.

yes there was one a few months back in the museum. guy jumped into the main foyer if front of shocked patrons.

someone posted a pic of that rather cool Liverbird in Keys Court the other day which I loved.

so when I took my camera down I made a special effort to get my own pics. I did notice that there's more to the bird than meets the eye. there's a few things built into the bird

if you look at his right wing Turning the place over and the Costa pipes are there

Ged'll like this one..Everton tower in birds head

and in body part another Liverbird, a Lambie , Zigzag steps, 1 Park West outline and the tiling from the building picture is on.

Great pics Quincy...I never noticed all of that stuff before. Then next time I walk past it I'll have a closer look.

It is very clever and creative.

Went into Liverpool 1 sometime in August. I wasn't impressed at all - it looked like all the shops had just moved up the road - to be with Debenhams and John Lewis. I couldn't really see what all the fuss was about.

However, last Sunday I came through Chavasse Park way - lovely. Obviously Phase 2 is now open and this is why is looked better to me.

With regards to Chavasse Park - if my memory serves me right - it was just a field with a path going through it towards Paradise Street. I think it looks better now.

I am going down this week to have a good look - and may treat myself to a cuppa in the cafe in Debenhams, which looks like it has a good view of the riverside.

I'm not a big shopper, but I think Liverpool 1 is good for the city. It is better than what was there previously.

It was weird in the wind today up on Chavasse Park as we arrived to go into The Odeon. Felt like we were on the top of Snowdon!

Despite feeling a bit anxious [we were with the kids too], what a fab cinema!

The whole of Liverpool One is a triumph for the city!
