Is that red carpeted area South John st, it looks very narrow and claustaphobic, and that bloke will never fit in that lift.

Brilliant pics adw, from someone who has not been in the city centre for about 8 years, I cannot believe all the changes that have happened, I really enjoy seeing the pics of modern Liverpool!!

Excellent, ADW.
I took a few snaps.
Will post some.
Paradise Street is spacious enough, but the rest is very claustrophobic.
(I hate crowds, too).
Difficult to get good shots of the 'architecture'.
I'm just uploading mine now. it was chocker when we arrived about half 12. hubby enjoyed the fashion show (women in lingerie)
he was really impressed with the place. which for him is summat.
the fountain is fab. couldn't see the old dock wall too well as the light was reflecting off the top of the glass, but at least it's been left untouched.
the bridge between the Q park and John Lewis is bit odd it moves as buses go underneath.
overall I think it's fantastic. it's amazing to see so many new buildings and not as much glass as I thought there would be.
the workies should be very proud

What are peoples first impressions on the quality of the work? Will it all look tatty within a year or two?
