Many happy returns Chris.
An excellent piece Chris. I can almost smell those musky old books as you describe so vividly the scene with your good friend. He sounds like a man well worth being with for an hour or three.
Them drugs sure have a strong whiff about them brother.
Just met a friend who looked very bearly eyed.
His four year old daughter had them up all LAST night as she kept hearing Santa coming.:)

Very well written Chris. As our economy goes down the pan the arms dealers are rubbing their hands in glee. They will have a great Christmas at our expense.
Every bang bang bang's just more money...
Excellent work Chris.
Well spotted there Chris.
The artists eye can see things that mere mortals just gaze at in wonderment without really seeing their beauty.
Very fitting words.:handclap:
Brilliant picture but just how long before some "jobsworth" will come and stop them having fun.

Wave after wave of men rushing ashore
Bang after bang as deadly lead flew

I can never understand the score at half time and why the bowlers all seem to have this incredible itch in their groin that they jut have to rub with the ball always amazes me.
Roses we picked for my Mam when we where sent out a walk as our new baby was about to arrive.
