Could someone explain what the Gores directories are. What information can you get from them, how to obtain them and are there directories for all U.K.

I know the father and son were definatley at this address during the year 1949. The father was James A Moore and the son John T Moore.

I beleive it is Alfred, although there is a big ink splodge over it, but I am sure it is.

I know they lived at 30, Lowther street, around 1945-1950 ish. There was a father named James A Moore and a son John, born 1927. Any information about anyone else who was part of the family or knew...
