Yes Chipping Street, was the street, that ran along the top of our street (Hodges Mount). Remember the cobbles well, we used to burst the tar bubbles in between them with lolly ice sticks on the hot...

We lived at No 21. I have found the street sign but no luck...
I havent been in there yet but it seems to be a new policy, they have down sized the store in Speke too. Less staff and lower running costs I suppose.
