Hi Guys....
Can anybody recollect a pub in the vicinity..ish of London Road called the Tam O Shanter? It would have been open around 1976? Where was it located?
Cheers
It was on the opposite side to the Legs of Man , a bit further up from the Yan Yan Chinese resturant ..
It had a flat front ...

What do you think of White Star Bar ( 2-4 Rainford Garden in Liverpool) and White Star Cafe (56 Regent Road in Kirkdale) please ?
There was a pub at the bottom of Matthew St called the White Star.
Many pubs in Liverpool had nautical names. The Great Eastern, Alabama (named after the CCS Alabama), Baltic Fleet, etc, etc. No one took much notice of the names.
The Blue Anchor in Melling, right by Aintree racecourse and once run by blues legend Ted Sagar was gutted in a suspected arson attack overnight/this morning.
