Some really good artists out there . I think there's a place for all this graffitti but not on the streets. No matter how good its done it does tend to look like plain vandalism to me.

Here's a view of Beach Lawn in Crosby with some graffiti on the substation (?)
The graffiti is a bit crap, but i thought the contrast of the old and new was interesting.
[Point of Interest]: The house with the arched attic window once belonged to Thomas Henry Ismay, owner of The White Star Line. Beach Lawn looks over Liverpool Bay. From his window, he could see his ships, entering and leaving The Mersey.

The slogan 'Fear Builds Walls' was also on the Roger Waters' pig at the Echo Arena
My favourite piece of Graffiti. Think it was taken on Gradwell Street.

When I lived in Los Angeles a friend came up with his own measure of how nice a neighbourhood was...
A low GPM count (Graffiti Per Mile)...:)
In Los Angeles it also could signify a major gang presence....:PDT_Xtremez_12:
I personally think it's a blight, but all of that creative energy can be put to good use with the permission of property owners and suitable sites. Just turn it into real public art.
Tucson is doing this -
