Very nice Gerard.
Nice pic Gerard. You should have told her you can not see the Tall ships from there.
Very evocative. I know they were night time raids but she could almost be looking in the direction of the drone from the Luftwaffe.
Thanks Linda..

The idea Ged was to get a kind of wartime mood to the photo... looking in the distance for her sweetheart and all that m'larky..
the plan is to get rid of the background and add a few layers of the Pier Head or Lime St area photos, merge them together and make it look period to a war theme...thats the plan anyway...we'll se how it go's. !

Fine photographs, Gerard and Smurf. :handclap:
Good work there, Smurf. I believe that's the base of the Peter Pan Statue in Sefton Park, isn't that right?
Chris
Nice one, GD! And a useful antidote to all that sentimental guff! I was just waiting for the suggestion that she was scanning the horizon for bluebirds... Could it be though that she was trying to find inspiration to get involved in the war effort, like all those other women who went to work in the factories? Looking up, she caught sight of Wellington's boot - so Dunlops became her natural choice.
