Does anyone out there remember a family called bray and vasper who had the old curiosity vaults at number 95 park lane in the 1940's??? They had a son called jimmy bray who was a really good welter weight boxer who often fought at the liverpool stadium. Can anyone help me with any memories of the pub or the families????/

anyone out there with any memories of the brays who had the pub the old curiosity vaults in the 40's and fifties and maybe sixties which was on corner of dickenson street and park lane. The landlady was named old queen and there were lots of brothers, one was a good boxer named jimmy bray who fought at the stadium. Think the pub got some damage when liverpool was damaged by bombs in the war. anyone with any memories of the brays or the vaspers or even of mary bray the flowere seller at liverpool lime street-please get in touch. thanks everyone

Hi My name is Kelly, i no the family off Mary very well, I no her sister Vera who had the flower stall at Central Station, Vera Simmcock nee Sheilds.
I am very new to this site so i am still finding my way around so i hope i can get back to this thread as i have tryed to get back to other threads but i havent been able too.
