H.M.S. Liverpool is in dock for the next few days,and it's probably her last visit,before she's decommisioned,next year!(wonder where she might end up,but scrapped probably!) I noticed there seemed to be a high level of security,with the guy by the gun turret scanning continuously,with binoculars,and armed guards, among the group at the rear of the ship!?
Good pics, I like the first one were the guys look like there are in Reservoir Dogs
It was pretty well guarded on the HMS Manchester visit too.
Lots of chatty sailors talking to the visitors on deck, and another group of much less chatty guys like this in between the visitors.

I was having a good laugh with about eight of them in Heebie Jeebies on Saturday night.
They were telling me that they were really excited about coming to Liverpool and how they've had such a nice welcome since arriving and think it's one of the greatest places they have visited. They were really nice lads, couldn't dance though to save their lives. ha ha.
They said they were off to the Middle East to tackle the pirates when they sail today.
Wonderful photographs! Thanks! Sad indeed to hear the vessel might be scrapped.
