I don't remember it myself but Mr. Imundi's store on Springfield St was known locally as Jimmy Romeos, pronounced Roe may hoe. It's still mentioned locally and one of the really old St. Josephs parishoners in fact mentioned it just recently to me. I have a couple of (long shot) pics of it on my site mentioned below.
There was a Gym on Wavertre road run by Vic Imundi. Was it Golds gym?
